EXPERIENCED COACHING

EMPOWERING PARENTS | COACHING ATHLETES

EXPERIENCED COACHING, AT AN AFFORDABLE COST

We developed eCoachIt from a very simple principle – use technology to create an enhanced connection between the coach and athlete to offer quality, convenient and cost-effective instruction.

We take the guess-work out of ensuring you are working with qualified coaches. Our coaches have sport specific experience, they complete training through the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) and have verified background checks through Verified Volunteers.

HOW WE QUALIFY ECOACHIT COACHES

HARD WORK + RESPECT THE GAME = ENJOYMENT

Parents and athletes expect qualified coaches when engaging a service to instruct on skill execution. eCoachIt embraces this expectation and only provides coaches when engaging individual athletes that:
1. Have participated in the sport in question as a player and/or a coach with demonstrated results (you can view coach bios in each sport);
2. Are committed to excellence for themselves and the athletes they instruct;
3. Keep the enjoyment of the game a central feature of their instruction;
4. Are certified through NAYS (see below) to ensure qualification using an outside party’s standards beyond eCoachIt’s high standards.
5. Are background checked by Verified Volunteers.

eCoachIt has partnered with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) to qualify our coaches beyond our own high-standards as well as perform background checks of each coach prior to providing any coaching service to our clients.

The National Alliance for Youth Sports, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is America’s leading advocate for positive and safe sports activities for children. Since 1981, NAYS has partnered with more than 3,000 youth organizations to improve programming and to educate adults on their important roles in youth sports. Find out more at www.nays.org.

WHY WE DO THIS

YOUTH SPORTS NEEDS A MODERN, TECHNOLOGY ADAPTED SOLUTION TO PERSONAL SKILL ANALYSIS

Hi,

We are Andrea and Jon Visser, parents of 3 daughters who love various sports. Jumping to the punch line, “So why does eCoachIt exist?” Through our own first-hand experience, we saw a need for more economical and qualified skill coaching for youth sports. So we decided to fill that need by employing technology with a focus on helping parents better participate with their child athlete’s skill evolution and enhancement.

Andrea played many sports growing up and excelled in softball to the point of playing through college. Being a part of national title softball teams in Travel, Junior College and NAIA college level competition, she has sought to translate her experience to many current players as she actively coaches teams and individual athletes. eCoachIt grew out of their combined experience and observation that the current state of kids sports often leaves the parent “out of the loop” and often wondering where to obtain experienced coaching that isn’t delivered with an agenda or at an astronomical cost – dollars and time.

This is a case where God-given passion meets an opportunity to offer and give back to the next generation of athletes. We believe that God has given each person certain skills and that those should be used to His glory and therefore should be shared out. Of course a business is an opportunity to make a living, but in the grand scheme that can’t be the only reason to do something. We care about kids and therefore we want to see them achieve their potential while still being able to be a kid. The world of youth sports has become laden with many agendas, not all for the betterment or enjoyment of the sport – this includes institutions, parents and athletes alike. In contrast, our agenda is the enjoyment of the game by the athlete and to do our best to help them refine their talent to the best of their ability, and wherever that skill takes them.

Blessings to you,
Andrea & Jon
