VIDEO ANALYSIS CREATION & REVIEW PROCESS

EMPOWERING PARENTS | COACHING ATHLETES
The eCoachIt process of skill analysis coaching is straightforward and works according to the steps below. More than just lessons, this process looks to empower the parent and the player to understand visually exactly what challenges exist with the skill execution and what to do about it. When you combine visual review and feedback with how it correlates to muscle memory modification, the results are greatly enhanced.
Step 1 – Parent/client submits an order for the service and then fills out an onboarding questionnaire.
Step 2 – Parent/client sends video footage to eCoachIt (see filming guidance here).
Step 3 – eCoachIt assembles the provided footage into a single video montage with needed augmentations/refinements – e.g. zoom frame; slow motion; light adjustment; etc. – for each analysis.
Step 4 – Parent/client pays for the analysis.
Step 5 – Coach reviews video and provides skill analysis as well as guidance on what to work on.
Step 6 – Video analysis is reviewed by parent/athlete
The process then repeats when parent/client orders additional analyses and provides new video footage to eCoachIt.
All of the videos on the left were part of individual video files that were edited to feature the core skill and then compiled into the video to the right.
The review video on the right allows the athlete to see each comment time stamped to the precise point of the video where the coach is seeking to call out the skill change/refinement.
